There are many commercial guitars out there.  Many are very pretty.  What they lack is individuality.  You are likely to see the same model in another player’s hands again and again.  One of the defining attributes of luthier built instruments is individuality.  We build instruments that are distinctive, we select wood that has character, and we apply finishes that are sympathetic to the nature of the wood.  The photo shows a recent build in process.  We asked a local pyrographic artist to create an image of an iconic Canadian scene of pines on a rocky shoreline.  This instrument is unlike any other.  More photos to follow. . .
